By engaging with Nyi Smith for graphic design services, the Client agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions:

Payment

Prices are subject to change but remain valid for ongoing projects.


Full payment is required for all projects under £100. Larger projects (above £100) can be paid in two instalments with the remaining balance due within 48 hours of your approved design. A PayPal payment link or bank transfer info will be provided. Work will not begin until payments have cleared.

Refund + Cancellations

Due to the nature of my services I do not offer refunds. If I am unable to complete a project due to personal reasons or illness, a partial refund will be provided. 

If the client cancels the project after receiving partial work, no refund will be issued and ownership of artwork remains mine. If a client is unresponsive for two weeks, the project will be considered abandoned, and no refund will be issued.

Turnaround Time

Standard turnaround time is 7-30 business days (1-6 weeks), excluding weekends and holidays. Peak periods may extend this by 1-3 additional business days.

Enquiries must be submitted using my form. Instagram direct messages are fine for quick messages but not for placing orders. All communication is handled via email to ensure accuracy and reduce miscommunication. Clients must respond within agreed timeframes. If a client fails to respond, the project will be ceased as per refund policy.

Communication

Drafts + Revisions

Drafts are for approval only and must not be posted on socials, manipulated, or shared without permission. Each project begins with drafts/proofs followed by up to three (3) revisions for refinement. Additional revisions will incur a fee of £5-£20 per revision. 

Project Content

Clients must have a clear vision in mind for the project. If you want me a freestyle, understand that creative visions may differ and require more revisions. If applicable, the client must submit HIGH-QUALITY images and spell-checked text. I do not offer copywriting services and am not liable for any spelling or grammatical errors in the client's submitted content.

File Delivery + Ownership

Files are sent via WeTransfer with a download link valid for 7 days. After this period, if the client requires files to be resent, contact immediately. Files are sent in JPEG and PNG and/or PDF format. Additional formats (excluding core files) are available upon request.

Ownership of designs is transferred to the client only after  full payment is received but cannot resell or distribute the design without permission. I reserve the right to use any client work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless confidentiality is agreed upon before the project begins.

File Retention

Files for packages and larger projects are retained for 3 months from the date of final delivery. Files for single services are held for up to 2 weeks from the date of final delivery.
